Join us this year for our 2024 Legislative Day on Wednesday, March 13, 2024! Our Legislative Day is a time for all NAIFA-California members to get involved with advocacy to protect our industry and clients.

The State Legislature makes decisions about the products and services you offer that may dramatically impact you and your clients. Without your participation in the political process, they will be making these decisions in a vacuum. Make your voice heard at the California State Capitol this year.

Learn about current legislative affairs affecting the insurance industry and your business. Visit your state legislators and let them know how their decisions affect you and your clients!

“What Does a California Long Term Care Tax Mean For Your Clients and Your Business?”
Presented by: Larry Moore

What happened in Washington state? Will it happen in California? What options will our clients have then and what can we do about it now? With the passage of AB 567 Gavin Newsom has put together a task force to study and develop a state run LTC program very similar to what happened in Washington last year. Many think it is only a matter of time before a LTC tax is rolled out in California.

Our Keynote speaker, Larry Moore, has been focused and engaged in LTC planning since 1988 and has had the privilege to work for many respectable organizations such as Lincoln, Genworth, Prudential, John Hancock and Marsh McLennan.

Please join us for an IN PERSON breakfast meeting at The Greenery in Walnut Creek on Friday, October 14th to find out!

Larry Moore is the Regional Vice-President for National Guardian Life. His career has expanded over 30 years working in the LTC Marketplace. He is dedicated to approaching LTC planning from an overall retirement and estate planning perspective
